TALK ABOUT YOURSELF
This is a very common task at the beginning of a speaking. It is something you can prepare at home and practice. If you know what to say, you will feel more relaxed and confident. And or The act or practice of talking to oneself, either aloud or silently and mentally positive self-talk
Purpose of talking
about yourself
People
are becoming more aware that positive self-talk is a powerful tool
for increasing your self-confidence and curbing negative emotions. People
who can master positive self-talk are thought to be more confident,
motivated, and productive.
Here are our top tips for talking about
yourself
Do:
·
Think
about the types of topics and questions you may be asked before the exam.
School, family, free time, daily routines and future plans are common
topics.
·
Practice
answering simple questions about yourself. Work with a friend to practice or
record yourself and listen to the recording.
·
Listen
carefully to the questions. If you don’t understand the question, ask your
teacher to repeat it.
·
Give
complete answers in full sentences.
·
Look
at the examiner. His/her face may tell you when you’ve said enough and he/she
is ready for the next question
·
Memorize
your answers. It’s good to have ideas ready, but it’s better not to memorize
long replies to typical questions.
·
Just
reply with ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
·
Panic
if you are asked an unexpected question. Take a few seconds to think before you
answer it.

Definition
Introduction is an expression of introduction to know one's identity, we need to introduce ourselves to a clearer communication process with whom we talk, about what we are talking about and other conditions.
There are two forms of introduction that is formal and informal
Introduce myself
Formal introduction
A formal introduction is used when you introduce yourself in a formal room for example. Self in front of class, workroom, meeting room and Official forums, such as seminars ,. Formal intakes are used in formal situations.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Rachel Miryam, and you can call me “Rachel”. I was one of a million babies who was born in Indonesia on 2005. in Jakarta on 18th October. I live at Kalimalang street, Billymoon village, RT/RW: 003/001, Block C, East Jakarta. I study at SMK TELKOM JAKARTA at the 10th grade with the skills competencies of IT. My hobbies are cycling, listen the music, reading comics, watch movie and comedy because that all make me happy and entertain myself. I am the oldest in my family. I have one sister, her name is Jacqueline. She is married with one child. I have pleasant personality. I’m very friendly, sometimes I am shy if I meet new people. Sometimes I become annoying person and selfish. I like study hard and smile a lot. I have agreat parents who very loving me. They support all my desires. My intention is to make happy and proud of my parents after graduate my diploma and have a good job.
Informal Introduction
Informal introduction is used when you introduce yourself to someone at about the same age with you. Informal introduction id used in a non formal situation. Usually used on unofficial events or forums, such as introductions when in public meet new friends or friends. Commonly used words are as follows :

Is
the first step where you should open by saying greeting.
Greeting has 2 types:

Common Introductory Phrases
As
you can see in the previous examples, there are a number of different phrases
that are commonly used to introduce strangers:

Saying Hello and Goodbye
Many people begin and end conversations by saying hello and goodbye to each other. Doing so is considered good manners in many parts of the English-speaking world, and it's also a simple way to express friendly interest in whoever you're chatting with.
A simple greeting followed by asking about the other person is all that is needed to begin an introduction.
In this brief scenario, two people have just met:
Jane: Hello, Peter. How are you?
Peter: Fine, thanks. How are you?
Jane: I'm fine, thank you.
Once you're finished speaking with someone, it's customary to say goodbye as you both part, as in this example:
Peter: Goodbye, Jane. See you tomorrow!
Jane: Bye bye, Peter. Have a nice evening.
Peter: Thanks, you too!
